仙台Iゾンタクラブより、国際ゾンタクラブによるWomen in Technology Scholarship（テクノロジー系女性に対する奨学金）の案内がございましたのでお知らせします。
当該Scholarshipは、テクノロジー分野における女性が男性に比べて甚だしく少ない現状を受け、状況の改善に資するよう当該分野での女性の積極的な活躍を支援するため、本年度から開始されたものです。世界32地区ごとに1名ずつ2000米ドル（日本で1名）、また全世界から選ばれた6名には8000米ドルの奨学金が授与されます。東北大学に所属する学生は、仙台Iゾンタクラブ（E-mail:d26sendai@zonta-d26.jp）を通じての申請となります。6月29日（土）までに申請書（英語で記載）をpdfにして、電子メールで送ってください。

Zonta International is pleased to offer its new Zonta International Women in Technology Scholarship to encourage women to pursue education, career opportunities and leadership roles in technology. 32 district/region scholarships of US$2,000 each and six international scholarships of US$8,000 each. Students belonging to Tohoku University can apply through the Sendai I Zonta Club (E-mail: d26sendai@zonta-d26.jp). Please send the application in pdf form by Saturday, June 29.
