Four female researchers received the 2020/21 Murasaki Sendai Hagi Award from Tohoku University President Hideo Ohno at a ceremony online on March 1, 2021.
The recipients were: Hyeonjeong Jeong, an associate professor at the Graduate School of International Cultural Studies, Kumiko Hayashi, an associate professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, Wakako Ikeda-Ohtsubo, an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Agricultural Science, and Kanako Kumada, an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
