TUMUG contributes to this commitment by running the Tohoku University Science Angels program and diverse events targeting undergraduate and graduate students.

Gender issues course

TUMUG leads “Gender and Society,” a university-wide common course (core course) that seeks to increase student awareness of gender-related challenges in contemporary society by introducing them to diverse perspectives on gender. This course can be taken as part of the Tohoku University Global Leader Program.
